Who we are?
The eco-waste FabLab is a FabLab of the Evangelical University in Africa located in the city of Bukavu in eastern DRC. This city is experiencing rapid population growth accompanied by many challenges, such as insufficient basic infrastructure and services, uncontrolled construction, waste-related pollution and increasing youth poverty. Faced with these challenges, we thought of developing professional skills required to create job opportunities for young people while improving waste management.
